Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:

• Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.

My Practice Hours

My practice hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-6pm and Friday 9am-2pm. Please do not contact me in the evenings and weekends. In case of emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Cancellation Policy

I have a 24 hours cancellation policy which I will ask you to sign on your first appointment. If you fail to cancel your appointment more than 24 hours in advance you will be charged the full amount of a treatment session. This means in practical terms that if you have an appointment at 2pm the following day you cannot cancel at 7pm the night before.
